#Double dragon 3 floor that you fall through trial
It is why i can offer advice and as you noticed, i literally was able to one guess your location:) Trial and error.īack up your saves. "Hindsight is great": tell me about it, you would not know how many times my chars died due to glitches, bugs, misclicks sudden random alt+tabbing and so on. (Unless this tile issue was fixed somewhere along the way, and i missed it out in the developers diary.)

If you were able to walk on the tiles, as i seem to understand from your replies, then you already had some kind of a glitch/bug, which i think was caused by a mod. You fell through them, the first time i encountered it, it took me 3 times falling down by the time i realized i am actually falling through the roof.(I have been doing some stuff which made it not 100% certain it was the issue.)) (Rosewood FD is tile roofed was never metal roofed)

Though everything else which I had stored in containers, or dumped on the ground such as 2 generators, 5-6 full cans of gas, piles of books, scrap metal and wooden planks, are all still exactly where I left them, just not my character's gear, or body.Īctually the Rosewood FD garage and all other "tile-roofed" buildings were never walkable. Just to really add insult to injury, all my character's stuff is gone, including the hiking bag I dropped, before even picking up my sledge hammer, to stop from being over-encumbered when picking up the sledgehammer. And I fell through the very tile I was standing on when breaking down the wall in the first place! How am I supposed to see that coming?Īnd. But the Fire Station seems to have a metal roof, and I fell a level down, through a hole in the wall, not the floor/roof. Had I fallen through, and left some hole in the tiles, then ok.

There's nothing to suggest that roofing cannot be relied upon to walk on. Originally posted by Nordil(Hun):at least the ones that are more ornately looking, and not just flat tiles.(I mentioned this in another reply to a post like less than week ago or so.) If there is a pre-existing roof, the best option is to allways destroy it, before making your own tiles over it, as there may be some kind of issue between pre-existing and crafted tiles.Īlso are you using any mods? As it also may have cause the second bug you encountered.Īnd a final suggestion do not try to test things out if you are encumbered/injured or both. You allways have to make your own walkable roofs.

Then you made some wooden floors on the roof, and you fell through the normal already existing floor in the building.įirst things first roofs are mostly non-walkable, the prexisting ones, has been so for a long while, at least the ones that are more ornately looking, and not just flat tiles.(I mentioned this in another reply to a post like less than week ago or so.) You walked on the pre-existing roof and fell through it. (Or if it is Rosewood PD, to access the "garage" roof.) You know would be a bit helpful, if you would try to make your post a bit more descriptive, and informative.īut my initial guess is you used a sledge to destroy a wall, to access the roof of a one storied building that was next to the building.
